i saw this computer at Best Buy earlier today and i can’t get over the fact that someone thought that this was a good idea. some guy at acer thought it was a good idea to pitch this design, and some guy thought it was a good idea to give it a thousand dollar price tag. what a world we live in

I work at Best Buy and I literally have never sold one of these. It’s garbage. You can’t use the fucking touchpad without messing with the keys.

So, I was going through memory lane with my games and tech just to pass the time from this stressful-ass shit that’s going on and just lose myself, you know? Sometimes nostalgia is good, which is why it’s my handle in a lot of things, but I digress- I went over to my strategy guides and game magazines from when I was subscribed to Play, Playstation Mag, and Gamer just to grin at how excited I remembered getting over Zone of the Enders, Kingdom Hearts, Super Smash Brothers. Melee, and a plethora of other games. So, I moved over to my guides and I remembered something, that’s what this little story is going to be about.

Around my 12th birthday a buddy of mine at the time promised me he’d be able to get me a playboy magazine from his step-dad since he had a subscription and never looked at them, so Devin (my friend) told me that after the month of my birthday (April) he would hook me up with a brand new playboy magazine. My mind was fucking blown, because I knew all about them boobies by 12, I saw porn before and since my parents had HBO (and I happened to get chronic migraines which kept me up) sometimes I would see some sex going down with some fancy-ass females.

Anywho, my birthday came along, there was a party, I ate cake, we played Ace Combat or Dynasty Warriors, I can’t remember which one. After that Devin told me “It’s coming in the mail in a few weeks, I’ll give it to you when you come over.” because I’d pretty much bike to his house every weekend and we’d play video games, I dunno, we were social kids. I was crazy excited because I would have my own physical porn mag! I’ve seen them before (12 year old me talking) but having my own?! I’d be one in three kids in the neighborhood who had that kind of material.

There was a problem though.

My parents made it explicitly clear when I was eleven that if they ever found anything pornographic in my room they would take all of my video games away forever. Granted, looking back at it I can’t imagine that it was real forever, but still. So, as the day grew closer I had to think of some slick shit to not get caught, but also keep my porn close enough to have access to.

So, what did I do?

I was really into Metroid when I was younger, so much so that I played Metroid Prime and Fusion at the same time to get the special suit on the gamecube if you hooked it up to the console, I even snuck my GBA into class (in middle school) to play during lunch because I really enjoyed Metroid. I remembered for Christmas my dad bought me the Metroid Prime/Fusion duo-guide, and that both my father and my mother had seen me reading it to get tips on how to beat bosses and deal with the scary-ass space pirates.

That’s when it hit me.

I could put my porn in THERE and they would NEVER BE THE WISER.

So I did, and it worked flawlessly. Now, ten years later I wasn’t sure if I had gotten rid of my playboy magazine or not (because I have the internet at my disposal, and I moved, etc.) and LOOK AT WHAT THE FUCK I FOUND. TEN YEARS LATER! Nick you are one crafty motherfucker.

Nothing suspicious here at all. Just a guide for some amazing games.

That’s my nostalgia story for the night, I laughed immensely at this and I hope you guys enjoyed it too.

I’ve been reading Attack On Titan and listening to the Phoenix Wright: Turnabout Jazz Soul album and it FITS. The music matches the intense moments, then the sad moments.

I will say that AoT is pretty good (Or SnK, but I think of Snk Playmore, so I’m gonna stick to AoT) but really long-winded. How much sadness do they need to constantly show you before you get the idea that character development IS going to happen? Please force in my face more that Amarin is scared to fight but a tactical genius, please make it painfully clear that Misaki has a dark past and is how she is for a reason, I am not even going to tag this with spoilers because if you didn’t gather that from the first time they’re introduced I am doing you a favor.

It’s pretty dope, but I thought this shit was INSANE from the hype-train behind it. It isn’t, but it isn’t bad at all.

The hype though, man-oh-man.
